Oh, how fantastic! The fraught, desperate tension in the story was fabulous to read. It had just what I find fascinating in fuck-or-die stories - the guilt, angst and gripping drama, made all the better by believable and heartbreaking characterisation.
Your writing is really fluid and has this visceral appeal; I was totally drawn in. One of my favourite parts was the mention of Amy, and Dean's reasoning for killing her - and thoughts on monsters. Drawing those connections was very satisfying to read.
