Letter Meme!

Hi to the new people from the friending meme! And what better way to start than with some useless information about me. cassiopeia7 gave me the letter R and it was surprisingly difficult.

Something I hate: rum (for good reason), ratatouille (the food not the film), radiation poisoning, racism, rats

Something I love: robots, reading, (white) Russians (the drink), raspberries, reviews, racing-at-speed

Somewhere I've been: Reykjavik, Reading (v cosmopolitan, me), Rome,

Somewhere I'd like to go: Russia!

Someone I know: I know so many Rebeccas, my facebook is full of them. On LJ there are the lovely  riyku, road_rhythm, rockyrace and runedgirl. So R has good company clearly.

A film I liked: Rashomon, Revolutionary Road, RocknRolla,

I'd like to go to Iceland one day... mmm raspberries, yum. I've been to Reading too many times...I think once would have been enough, but I used to have to go to regular meetings there for work.

Iceland is absolutely gorgeous - definitely recommend going!

Reading on the other hand... I can't even say I've made it to Reading festival. Mostly Reading train station really.

Oh, Reykjavik is so darling. Seeing as it is relatively small I assume you also traveled out of town to see the geysers and other bits of Iceland? (It was one of the best trips I made:) If you ever get to Moscow, I recommend a ride on the underground: the stations are absolutely gorgeous!
I've seen Revolutionary road and know of Rashomon because of a CSI reference, but I had to check RocknRolla and I think I really should watch it for reasons *points at icon*

Reykjavik is beautiful (the whole of Iceland is) and yeah we took trips out to see the geysers which were fantastic - I would love to go back. Also the blue lagoon was awesome.

RocknRolla is a pretty fun film! Definitely recommend it - Rashomon is also worth it.

Cool! We're only about 35 miles away from Reading :) Great music scene and some truly strange people knocking about, just my kinda place!
