very well written and intriguing variation on the soulbonding idea- the idea of breaking it initially comes across as tragic, but they're no worse off than we poor folks in the real world. Although I can pretend for myself a possibility of some kind of limited reconnection later perhaps? like regrowth after pruning. ( I know in the fic it's a " never again" procedure, but wasn't Jensen supposed to be unable to bond as a null anyway?and still did)
