This is stunning! Sam's headspace just feels so right and I love how he sees Dean. So many fuck or die fics (my own included) tend to go all, 'we want this, might as well' or' bad, wrong, angst.' You've managed to walk a line here that feels real and as complex as their relationship.
I especially loved this line: Dean makes him want to lay out his words in the shape of fists as though that'd make some deeper impression on either of them.
