stripytights A grab-bag of recs from the last few days - not even close to a comprehensive list. These are all from very recent exchanges (Juletide, Little Black Dress and Eat, Drink, Make Merry), except for the one Skins fic right at the end which is from 2011.
Fandoms: Captain Marvel/Thor, American Psycho/Mr Robot, Birds of Prey, Midsommar, Blade Runner 2049, Skins, Hannibal, Earthsea
Kernel, Blade Runner 2049, Gen - superb little glimpses into all the memories that Ana gives to androids, as well as a delicate sideways look at Ana herself
Entremets, Hannibal, Will/Hannibal, - this is absolute food porn, I literally had to go out and buy myself some serrano ham after this fic. A detailed and delicious look at a life post-canon
many mouths, Midsommar, Dani/Maja, a piece of writing that is incredibly visual and that fits really well into the post-movie verse, food, drink and kiss included.
The Butterfly and the Moth, Earthsea, Gen, a gorgeous little moment between Arha and Penthe, a dreamer and a visionary sharing a cake and a wistfulness between them.
Take a Shot, Thor/Captain Marvel, Minn-Erva/Valkyrie, amazing crossover between canons, someone already on their path to redemption/purpose, offering a hand to the person one step behind them.
hip to be square, American Psycho/Mr Robot, Patrick Bateman/Tyrell Wellick, I only know one of these canons, but that is more than enough. As designer brand filled as you could possibly want, and an amazing crossover.
Pretty, Like a Car Crash, Birds of Prey, Montoya/Harley, a glimpse straight into Harley's head, and a new target for her focus. Fun as hell and really commits
realise, actualise, Birds of Prey, Dinah/Helena, this has one of my favourite tropes ever, someone sewing someone else up with a whole lot of tenderness and a whole lot of repressed (requited) feelings
to fuck and fight, Skins, Cook/Freddie, the Cook/Freddie fic I never knew I needed, and that I recommend without reservation. Cook's POV is nasty and entirely his own, and his complicated feelings take centre stage. Amazing.
